scope PARTNERS

The Sacramento Citywide Oncology Phase I Program, or SCOPE, is a formal alliance of local oncologists from Sutter Health, Kaiser Permanente, Dignity Health, Sierra Hematology Oncology, and UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center and is the first regional collaboration of its kind to share patients and clinical resources with the goal of expanding access to Phase I cancer clinical trials to patients within the greater northern California region.

DIGNITY HEALTH

The Dignity Health Cancer Institute of Greater Sacramento is your gateway to world-class cancer care. Cancer services extend beyond the traditional doctor-patient relationship. They start with a range of screening options for early detection and extend through personalized treatment following a cancer diagnosis—enabling you to take charge of your health.

KAISER PERMANENTE

With cancer care at Kaiser Permanente, no member — or doctor — goes it alone. We take a multidisciplinary approach, which means an entire team of specialists is involved in reviewing, assessing, and developing treatment options based on each case. The team evaluates any possible avenue for treatment with advanced procedures and technology.

SIERRA HEMATOLOGY ONCOLOGY

Sierra Hematology Oncology is dedicated to care of patients with hematology and oncology disorders with six physicians in four offices across the Greater Sacramento Region supported by some 10 registered nurses, 8 medical assistants and laboratory technicians, and another 12 administrative staff members. Offered services include initial comprehensive consultation, follow-up care, bone marrow biopsy, and other physician procedures, chemotherapy and infusion services, medication injection service, blood counts and chemistry panel analyses.

SUTTER HEALTH

Sutter’s cancer centers are proud to be at the forefront of cancer care and research. Doctors participate in more than 150 clinical trials supported by the National Cancer Institute, biotech and pharmaceutical companies. Sutter’s cancer centers in Sacramento, Roseville, Modesto, Auburn and Vallejo have earned accreditation by the American College of Surgeons (ACS) Commission on Cancer.

UC DAVIS COMPREHENSIVE CANCER CENTER

UC Davis is designated as a Comprehensive Cancer Center by the National Cancer Institute, the nation’s top cancer organization. Only 50 other cancer centers have successfully earned this designation, a mark of the highest standards and achievements in cancer research, outreach and education, all of which are reflected in our excellence in patient care.
